ESD Protection

Static is generated on people, furniture, flooring and material handling equipment in the modern production and testing environments. This discharge of static through sensitive electronic devices can irreversibly harm the electronic devices causing loss of components, lower reliability and reduced productivity of the facility. In Test Lab (Example: Embedded technology, nanotechnology, MEMS etc) environments, static can cause glitches in the operation of the circuitry under observation and hence can negatively impact the output of testing or product validation resulting in longer lead time required for design and validation activites.

This makes it imperative to have sound ESD Control built into the environment of the facility. This typically involves the following components:

	ESD Safe Trolleys for movement of materials
	ESD Safe Storage racks
